A long time ago there was a girl called Konji. She lived on the hill near the Mountain. Konji is mother was dead. She lived alone by her self, she was very poor and she doesn’t have any parents or any relatives to live near her home. She had just one aunty. Unfortunately her aunty lived up to the Mountain. It was far away from her home. The Mountain was very dangerous because of wild animals. Konji was very thin and weak. One day she wanted to go to her auntie’s home. She needed to travel by foot.
Konji got ready and went but there was a dingo on her way. The dingo saw her and said Konji, ‘I want to eat you’ ‘she said to the dingo ‘oh Mr dingo sorry I forgotten to tell you. I am very thin; let me go to my auntie’s home. If I reach there I will eat a lot of food and breads. Later when I get fat, then you can eat me with a very spicy massala.’ The dingo believed her and let her go.
She walked and walked past the dingo. There was a wolf in her way and Wolf said Konji ‘where are you going? She was shaking and said. ‘Oh Mr wolf you are a very good hunter in the Mountains. Let me go to my auntie’s home and eat a lot of fatty food and vegetables to get fat. At that time you can eat me very easily.’
Konji walked and past the wolf to the side of Mount Saide. Suddenly a tiger was in her way. The tiger growled. ‘ Konji hang on, where are you going? I am very hungry and I want to eat you.’ ‘Oh Mr tiger you are the champion of the jungle. She walked slowly and crossed the tiger. The lion saw her and woke up slowly from under the tree. Suddenly the lion start running and jumped in her way. The lion roared looked with angry face and Said to Konji where are you going? I want to eat you. I haven’t eaten any thing for a few days and I am very hungry. Let me break you in pieces and eat you in one mouthful. She was shaking and very scared. She said ‘oh king of the jungle. Unfortunately I am very thin and I am going to my auntie’ home to eat good food and fruits later I am getting fat. So when I get fat then I am getting ready to come back and you can eat me very easily.’
Konji reached her auntie’s home and told all the stories to her aunty. She stayed for a few weeks. After a few weeks she got ready to go back home. At that time her aunty brought her one big pumpkin. She sat inside of the pumpkin then she is rolling and rolling left her auntie’s home.
Eventually she got close to the lion. The lion said ‘oh pumpkin did you see Konji?’ she said from inside of the pumpkin. ‘Oh shut up, don’t poke your nose. Pumpkin didn’t saw any one. She was rolling and rolling went down but there was a tiger jumped in her way. The tiger asked pumpkin did you see Konji? She said from inside of the pumpkin, ‘oh shut your mouth, get down bloody. I didn’t saw any Konji.
She reached in front of the wolf and wolf saw the pumpkin is rolling and rolling called ‘oh pumpkin did you see konji?’ She said from inside of the pumpkin.’ ‘Oh dog, what are you talking about. Sorry for that I didn’t saw any Konji.
She got close to the dingo. When dingo saw the pumpkin is rolling and rolling he called with a thin barked. ‘Oh pumpkin did you see Konji anywhere? ‘She said from inside of the pumpkin against the dingo. ‘Oh bloody dingo you are blind, you are selfish, no one care or scared of you. You are rubbish in the world of wild animals.’
She arrived safely at her home but no animals can eat her. She used her mind and cleverness; she did every thing to defend her life from the wild animals. She defeats all the wildlife animals in the Mountains.
